Mossbourne Port Side Academy LGB
Mossbourne Port Side Academy (formerly Ortu Hassenbrook Academy) is a secondary academy within the Mossbourne Federation, a multi-academy trust and a registered company, limited by guarantee. It is an exempt charity regulated by the Department for Education on behalf of the Secretary of State for Education.
The Mossbourne Federation Central Federation Board (CFB) has established a Local Governing Body (LGB) for Mossbourne Port Side Academy, fulfilling an advisory function regarding student learning and welfare.
Mossbourne Port Side Academy was previously Ortu Hassenbrook Academy, before a merger between the Ortu Federation and the Mossbourne Federation took place on 1st January 2025.
